Showing the maximum badge sizes that can fit in the Next-Gen Badge Wallet

1. Badge Size

Fits and Encloses safely any badge 2.5 x 3.5 inches (64 x 89 mm) or less

Shape doesn't matter, shield, 5 star, 6 star, 7 star? As long as it is smaller than the above dimensions it will fit in the badge wallet

2. Back of your Badge

Listed below are the current verified badge backing types that fit with our badge wallet.

  • Flat or Velcro (Hook and Loop)

    Badges with nothing on their back side, the hook and loop will connect with no problem. If you have a badge that already has hook and loop, even better!

  • Single Pin/Rivet Style

    Badges with a small pin used to press the badge into the holder. The pin is not used for the IDLETAC wallet, but there is space in the trench to allow it to sit flat.

  • Wallet Clip Style

    With the IDLETAC trench design, it allows for your wallet clip to fit behind the hook and loop connectors. This allows your badge to be secure without making the wallet thicker.

    Be careful of any large bump state seals, or clips high up on the badge. See #3.

  • Does not fit Pin and Safety Catch

    The IDLETAC Wallet does not fit any pin and safety catch style badges, these are too bulky to fit flat within the wallet.

3. Wallet Clip State Seals and Bumps

Only an issue for those badges with wallet clips. If you have a large state seal or front bump it will be too thick to fit in our slim badge wallet.

Also, your wallet clip must be somewhat centered on the back of your badge. If it is at the top or bottom at an odd place, it will not seat properly. Not compatible with York Regional Police.
